Neurodivergent Social Connection w/ Mara McLoughlin
Neurodivergent Social Connection
As a neurodivergent individual, it can be a challenge to find others who “get” you, making it easy to feel isolated and alone. Mara will talk about making neurodivergent social connections in our June guest call.
With over 10 years professional experience working with autistic and other neurodivergent people and their families from age 6 month – 23 years, and her over 25 years as a student and teacher of yoga and mindfulness, Coach Mara knows that learning more of these skills can help build a better world.
A certified provider of the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®), with both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communication Science and Disorders, she knows that communication is the key to life. Communication is FUN! Communication is DIFFICULT. And to learn and gain confidence in the initial steps of founding friendships and self-regulation skills can help improve the lives of all involved.
